In November 2024 I was part of the Visual Merchandising crew who took on the Boss Model Store. This took place over 3 days, with lots of hard work and so many people to learn from. The idea of the model store organisation is that images of how we set up the Regent Street store (known as the flagship store of the world) will be sent around the world as a guide for how all other stores should be set up for the Christmas season.
As a part of work experience and mentoring I took on the role as a visual merchandising assistant. This role included understanding the psychology of clothing placement, seasonal dressing (on and off the mannequin) and colour palette matching.

I was based in the womenswear section of the store which allowed me to express my creativity through the beautiful shapes, colours and textures that womenswear clothing exhibits.
I learnt that finer details are super important for creating photographic content. I spent some of my time steaming and folding clothing pieces as well as redressing mannequins around the store.
